Who we are
Ariadne ("we", "us") is a mobile app for clearing one circling thought in a short, guided session. It is operated by Lafonten Finansal Yazılım Limited Şirketi. This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and who helps us process it.
What we collect
- What you write or say in a session. The text of your sessions and the reflections generated for them, stored so you can look back at them in History. If you use voice input, your speech is turned into text by your device's speech recognition service (Apple), and only the resulting text reaches us.
- Your onboarding answers. The answers you give to the questions when you first open the app, and the name you choose to give, if any. We use them to personalize your sessions.
- Account information. You can start as a guest with no email. If you create an account or sign in with Apple, we store your email address and display name.
- Purchases. Your subscription and trial status. Payment is handled entirely by Apple; we never see your card details.
- Usage events. Signals such as which screens you open, onboarding steps and starting or finishing a session. These are linked to your account ID and help us understand how the app is used and fix what doesn't work.
- Diagnostics. Error reports including your device model and operating system version.
- Identifiers. Your account ID, an app-specific device identifier, and an anonymous ID created by the Meta SDK. We have turned off collection of Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA).
- Feedback. Anything you send us through the in-app feedback form.
- The email list on this site. If you subscribe, we store the address you enter on our own server and use it only to send you news about Ariadne. You can unsubscribe at any time.
How we use it
- To provide the core features: running your sessions, generating Ariadne's replies and summaries, and saving your history.
- To manage your subscription and keep your account secure.
- To understand how the app is used and improve it.
- To measure how well our ads work, by telling Meta when someone installs the app, starts a trial or subscribes.
We do not sell your data, and we never share the content of your sessions for advertising.
AI-generated replies
Ariadne's replies and session summaries are generated by an open-weight large language model, accessed through a third-party AI provider. To produce a reply, the text of your session and relevant onboarding answers are sent to that provider over an encrypted connection. We do not use your conversations to train models.
Who we share data with
We use a small number of service providers, each only for the purpose listed:
- Supabase: hosts our database and handles sign-in.
- Our AI model provider: generates replies and summaries, as described above.
- RevenueCat: manages subscriptions and trial status.
- Meta (Facebook SDK): receives app events such as installs, trial starts and subscriptions, with the identifiers above, to measure our advertising. It never receives what you write in a session.
- Apple: processes payments, Sign in with Apple and on-device speech recognition.
Some of these providers process data on servers outside Türkiye. By using the app, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred abroad for these purposes.
Data retention & deletion
Your data stays until you delete it. Deleting a session permanently removes its messages. You can delete your account at any time from the Profile tab in the app, which permanently removes your sessions, onboarding answers and profile. If you'd rather, you can also email us at the address below and we'll delete it for you. Usage events, error reports and any feedback you sent us are kept to help improve the app, no longer tied to an account. Data already shared with Meta for ad measurement is governed by Meta's own retention policy.
Children
Ariadne is not intended for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from children.
Not medical data
Ariadne is a self-help tool, not a medical or clinical service, and is not a substitute for professional care.
